Tour reveals details of first 3 stages of '13 race

AJACCIO, Corsica (AP) Organizers have revealed details of first three stages Tour de France in 2013, when the cycling showcase will visit the French island of Corsica for the first time.
The 100th edition of the race will start on June 29 with a 124-mile flat trek from Porto-Vecchio, along the coastline past the cliffs of Bonifacio, to the town of Bastia.
Climbers get the chance to test their legs the next day on a 96.1-mile route from Bastia to Ajaccio, which features climbs up Col de Bellagranajo, Col de la Serra and Col de Vizzavona.
The third stage on July 1 features spectacular views over the Piana coves and takes riders on a 90-mile leg from Ajaccio to Calvi.
