New Zealand's Bauer wins Stage 2 of Tour of Utah

PROVO, Utah (AP) New Zealand's Jack Bauer won the second stage of the Tour of Utah of Thursday, while Colombia's Sergio Henao overcame a late crash to retain the overall lead.

Bauer finished the 100.7-mile stage that started in Lehi and wound around Utah Lake in 3 hours, 33 minutes, 43 seconds. Italian rider Elia Viviani was second, and American Jake Keough third.

Henao had a 7-second lead over Spain's Oscar Sevilla with three stages left. Montana star Levi Leipheimer was third, 13 seconds back, and fellow U.S. rider Jesse Anthony was fourth, 18 second behind. Slovakia's Janez Brajkovic completed the five-man lead group, 21 seconds behind Henao.
